Pantiles Plumbing & Heating offer competitive rates for annual Gas Safety Certificates for your boiler and gas appliances as well as boiler services. We work closely with several local letting agents and private landlords to provide this service.

It is a legal requirement that all properties that are to be let in the UK have Gas Safety Certificates for the boiler issued by a Gas Safe Registered Engineer. This is because, as the landlord, you are responsible for the safety of your tenants in so far as the boiler and gas appliances in your property are properly maintained and tested.

The gas registration body used to be CORGI but Gas Safe Register replaced CORGI in Great Britain and Isle of Man on 1st April 2009 and Northern Ireland and Guernsey on 1st April 2010. Pantiles Plumbing & Heating’s Gas Safe Registered Business Number is 530009. You can verify this on the Gas Safe website and please use the ‘Check a Gas Business’ section.

The usual landlord service we offer includes the following:

• Inspection of boiler & gas appliance (e.g. gas hob)
• LPG inspections
• Gas Safety Certificate (including a copy for the tenant & a copy for the landlord)

• To take the stress out of remembering your renewal date we will send you a reminder when your Certificate is due to expire & if you prefer we can arrange a new inspection date direct with your tenant.

If your boiler or appliance does not pass the Gas Safety inspection for whatever reason our engineer will contact you immediately to discuss your options. No work would be undertaken without your permission and if it is a simple fix then our engineers will endeavour to carry it out on the spot. Our vans are well stocked and we carry a lot of standard parts.
